Unilever excels at 2016 MMA SMARTIES

Unilever once again made their mark at the 2016 MMA SMARTIES Awards. The awards programme is the only one of its kind created specifically to recognise the best-in-class mobile marketing campaigns from around the world.

Unilever scooped eight awards including two Gold Awards in the Mobile Website Category for the OMO Fast Kids interactive online learning site and in the Mobile Video Category for the AXE #YouGottaDry campaign.

“Africa is the second-fastest mobile adoption market in the world with almost one billion mobile phone subscribers. In an environment where people are cellphone obsessed, we understand the importance of moving out of our comfort zone to reach and engage people,” said Enver Groenewald, CCM Director for Unilever Africa.

“We are extremely excited and honoured to be recognised for our work in mobile advertising and will continue to push the envelope to win the hearts and minds of consumers,” he continued.
