People don’t care whether you work out or not. Wearing athletic inspired clothing as everyday wear is one of if not the biggest fashion trends right now that has no signs of slowing down.

A healthy lifestyle is desired by many but not always achievable in the consumer’s busy lifestyle. So by wearing a sportswear brand it makes one feel or even give the impression that they are living a healthy lifestyle. It’s more about appearances than about actually being seen in a gym.

People have been seen incorporating sportswear pieces from Adidas and Puma for example with more high end, fashion-forward pieces like fashionable skirts, wide leg pants or elegant trench coats. Others have been seen wearing casual workout shorts with boots and leather jackets. Its all about incorporating really stylish pieces with elements of sportswear.

It’s less about being an athlete and more about looking like a fabulous and fashionable one. One of the greatest examples of this was a young woman we spotted at the Design Indaba 2017 wearing an Adidas tracksuit pants, Puma sneakers and a deconstructed oxford shirt. She was the personification of Fablete.
