Insight: Youthphoria – African pop culture

Music has one voice.
Youth music across Africa is becoming one and can no longer be classified as a specific genre (Nigerian, South African, Hip Hop or Kwaito)
With the increase in collaboration of music artist across the continent, it has become more and more of a norm to hear multiple African dialects in a song.

Now every youth across the continent is able to sing along to the same song regardless of country of origin as some parts of the song are in their native languages.
This gives brands an opportunity to move beyond borders when endorsing or even using product placements in music videos as the African music scene has become one.
