Clothing is not just fabric. When it is well-made it becomes it’s owners closest friend. Just as well-made garments are enduring because of their good quality, good friends last through the years.
Clothing that lasts through the years is like a friend that you stay close to for years, who doesn’t fail you and when you need them or miss them they are reliable enough to connect with and its like nothing has changed.
The same goes for clothes that may have not been worn in a while, because of their superior quality when you do take them out of the closet they still look and feel great on.
I have observed on Instagram how people post pictures of their shoes or clothes referring to them as “closest friend” or “friend” and it is with this insight that a clothing brand can really create an emotional connection with consumers.
If your clothing brand focuses on offering superior long-lasting quality then making the connection with clothing as a friend can be explored to reconnect the consumer to this benefit.
