“Vaxxed and Masked”_ new millennial term

There is a new phenomenon looming amongst the youth of South Africa, enter #VaxxedAndMasked, with the governments attempts to try and vaccinate the nation millennials use social media as a broadcasting avenue to showcase their vaccination process, what this does is inherently help with developing a herd mentality in influencing their cohorts to jump on the bandwagon and make it seem cool to be a part of the vaccinated bunch. The broadcasting of the vacation process has three phases (1st, 2nd and 3rd dose) which millennial feel it is important to capture all these moments and sort of make their publics aware of their unfailing efforts to make the world a better place for everyone to live in.

Dinner parties and outing will be revolutionized in the soon coming months given that fact that #vaxxedandmasked will rule the era with a huge portion of people being digital inhabitants that lap up content especially content on social responsibility and, in a way, owning a seat at the good citizen table; the one that follows protocol.  Chilling with people that have been vaccinated ease mental stress of contracting COVID.

What becomes important is taking a picture with a vaccination mini card that the vaccination center gives you to solidify that fact that you are not claiming to be a part of the “elite” in our zeitgeist.
